A Larger-Than-Life Tribute to Frank Reaugh

On November 17, 2018, Historic Downtown Terrell plans an afternoon celebration dedicated to Terrell resident and Texas artist Frank Reaugh with the unveiling of the completed giant 96-foot mural by Texas artist Charlie Bullock, city ribbon cutting, and a screening of the documentary Frank Reaugh: Pastel Poet of the Texas Plains.

Save the Date and Time — Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM starting on the North side of Terrell City Hall at 227 N. Adelaide. The hour-long screening of the documentary will begin approximately around 4:00 and 4:15 inside Council Chambers close by at 201 E. Nash. The entire event is free and open to the public.

You may want to even plan a day of it as Terrell’s Mural Project, an on-going endeavor to portray the history of Terrell through art, and visit all ten murals throughout Historic Downtown Terrell. Take a peek at www.MuralsofTerrellTx.com for more information and locations.
